Men's Grooming

The past few years there has been quite the shift in men's grooming.

Before a toothbrush and a razor was all that was needed for a weekend away. Now men are using as much product, sometimes even more than their mates!! Advanced products for Shaving, Skincare regeimes, sophisticated colognes, nail care, hair color and grooming, not to mention a variety of clippers to groom areas unknown.
And how do we feel about this new revolution? I believe most women love having a well groomed man. The "Uber'sexual man is sexy, strong, career and family driven. They are aware of the world around them and want to make it a better place. They are not self centered and appreciate the effort their partners make on their behalf. The 'Metro'Sexual male has grown and matured to an 'Uber'sexual and I say Thank you!!

Organic Cosmetics

There is a lot of talk about eco-friendly, organic, vegan cosmetic products. What do these new "buzz"words mean? Well it means consumers have to do their research. It seems that there is a demand for these products from "soft green" to green life devotee's. Regardless I think in whatever way we each want to do our part. This seems true of the Cosmetic industry. A lot of companies are trying to be the first to market with the highest certification.



There is however an established product line from Germany "Lavera Cosmetics" that has Skincare, Make up and Hair care all European certified. So far the European standards are the highest, most recognizable certification. North America a long with other international countries are working to make an internationally recognizable certification.



Until then if you are interested in Organic, Eco-friendly, Natural products with a beautiful texture and color pallet try Lavera. Until recently it was only available at natural retailers like Whole Foods or Caper's but now is also available at London Drugs in Western Canada.

New Products

The cosmetic industry is constantly launching new innovative products. At times it is hard to figure out what is the best product. That is why I love being able to blog!!

Whenever I travel I love trying products from other countries, I like to be the first out of my friends to have the latest, greatest product.

The latest product that I have found is Bloom Cosmetics from Austrailia. It has this great cartoony packaging which I love, but the product itself is great! Great texture and colors. Now the challenge is finding it in North America.http://www.bloomcosmetics.com
